In order to make this oatmeal extra creamy just keep stirring it until the oats have absorbed the added milk. In addition, adding extra almond butter to the base will also work really well here and bring on extra creaminess if desired!

Easy Gingerbread Flavored Oatmeal
For the Oatmeal
- 1 cup Oats
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Gingerbread Spice
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 cup Soy Milk
- 1 tbsp Almond Butter (Optional)
For the Topping
- 1 whole Mandarin
- 1 tbsp Cacao Nibs
- 1 tbsp Walnuts
- 1 tbsp Almond Butter
- First, add all of the Oatmeal ingredients to a large pot and bring the mixture to a simmer. Once simmering, reduce the heat to Medium-Low and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When all the liquid from the mixture has been absorbed, you are ready to serve it. Put the oatmeal into a bowl and top it with the instructed ingredients plus/or any toppings of choice! Serve warm; leftovers will keep in the fridge up to 5 days!
